August 13th, 1914. A steamer floats through the waters of the Adriatic Sea on the road to Trieste. It's delayed. After a stopover in Istria, the captain decides to stay closer to the coast. Shortly after, the luxurious ship hits a mine. It's a massacre. But how many victims? We'll try to find out why this is the first WWI tragedy. It's the sinking of the Baron Gautsch.
